Soft Sculpture Animals and Pull Toys
The soft sculpture items featured on this page are original pattern designs by Judi.
The animals were inspired by the Lion King movie/musical costumes that actors wore with animal heads. All have boxer shorts with their animal picture in the fabric. They range in size from the 10” tall giraffe to about 5-7” for the others. They are fully articulated and can be hung as an ornament or can sit on a shelf.
The birds are a modern day version of the glass and feathered Christmas ornament birds that were made in the early 1900’s. The butterflies or “flutterbys” are made from old silk ties. Both of these items are made to hang so they move in the breeze/air. All of the above items were sold in the Smithsonian Museum gifts shops and/or given to friends
