Pull Toys
These pull toys were inspired by the German Steiff pull toys made in the early 1900’s. They range in size from 20" tall (flamingo and giraffe) to 8-12" tall (bear, elephant and lion). The base is made of wooden slats and dowels with 4 wooden wheels which turn so the animal can be pulled with the attached ribbon and bead. The first was a hot pink velvet Farrah Flamingo, then Royal the Lion, Morris the Moose, Gerrie the Giraffe, Ellie the elephant and Nadir the Quilted Elephant and the baby Polar Bear. These were gifted to friends and grand children as well as being sold in museum gift shops.
